Our Infant Room is designed to meet your baby’s individual needs both emotionally and physically. There is no such thing as too many hugs and cuddles for young babies!
Daily communication between our parents and daycare staff helps us to adapt to your baby’s sleeping and feeding schedule that is continually changing throughout infancy. You will receive an information sheet daily to summarize highlights of your baby’s day including eating, napping, diapering, needs, and special activities. This sheet helps track the small and significant changes and new developments that occur every day in a baby’s early life.
As your baby grows, he or she will be introduced to a variety of developmental activities to promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. These daily activities are vital to the development and stimulation of your baby! We want your child to get the best educational start in life. Our teachers evaluate every child formally four times a year. Communication and daily visits are welcomed and encouraged.
Development activities are based on the individual needs; walkers, mirrors, mobiles, music, and floor play are available. At Smart Start, our infant activities include:

Toddlers are curious little explorers who love to dump, pour, and climb as they are rapidly growing. They are on the move!
Our toddler environment supports your child’s cognitive and physical development through age-appropriate activities that are designed to enhance fine and gross motor skills, eye-hand coordination, promote language, develop communication, increase vocabulary and help your child to become problem solvers.

Preparation for kindergarten is highly promoted at the 3–5 year-old level. The educational programs at Smart Start are designed to support and encourage the growth and development of young children. The goals for our children are to build self-confidence, initiative, self-control, independence, persistence, and concentration. The curriculum for our Preschool Room is designed to help 3-5 year-olds achieve the necessary skills for kindergarten readiness. Your child learns through a multitude of hands-on experiences, including circle time, reading and math readiness activities, science, art, large and small group activities.
As educators of young children, we understand that all children develop at their own pace. Learning is a process that takes time and is never complete. Our teachers evaluate every child formally four times a year. Daily communication and daily visits are welcomed and encouraged.

Our program offers enriching learning opportunities in a fun environment for maturing school-age children. This includes before school and after school care, back-up or emergency care for school holidays and closings, and exciting summer day camp programs for children through age 11.
